London's birthday party

 The 24th 

On his actual birthday I had thought of doing a mini photoshoot, with L on his monster suit (purchased last halloween for this main purpose) since that was the party themed. The photoshoot didn't turn out as I had envisioned it in my head.(Nothing ever does haha) -.- 

Pense en tener una sesion fotografica el mero dia de su cumpleaños, quise que L estuviera en su disfraz de monstruo (el cual compramos el halloween pasado, para este proposito especifico) ya que ese era el tema de la fiesta. Para no hacer el cuento largo, mis planes no salieron como yo esperaba (como simepre me pasa jaja) -.-

He wasn't happy until he "liberated" himself

We played pin the eyes in the green monster, water-pong w/monster eyes and toss the ball in the monster.
Jugamos ponle los ojos al monstruo verde, agua-pong c/ojos de monstruo y anota la pelota en el monstruo.

We also played angry monster, I'll look for a picture of that.

July was good to us

July was a great month for us! Our son, London, was born on July 24th, 2012. So this year we celebrated having him with us for one WHOLE year!

London is definitely the greatest blessing of our lives! He is always happy, and he's very lovable and likeable, not because he's my son, but he REALLY is! He brings joy to everyone around him. Therefore it was only obvious to celebrate his first birthday with a little party with family and close friends!

It was a really fun party, if I do say so myself. I made all the decorations, pinata, games, cake and props for the photo booth for the party, and although the night before I was stressing and felt so anxious because I still had so much to do, but at the end, it turn out to be cute and fun. I wanted to do so many things that it was hard to stay within budget, but I am happy to report I did it successfully, and we only spent $250 including food! I still don't know how we did it but we did and it turn out to be great!



Well the day after London's birthday, on the 25th, we signed the closing documents for our house! Yes we are finally HOMEOWNERS!

This is our first house! We are in the Salt Lake Valley, close to Walmart, target and the freeway
 so of course we are really happy and excited, but at the same time thinking of all the things that we would like to update, makes me feel exhausted.

We will take it one step at a time and will try to enjoy the hard work of ownership! Also my dad came to visit us from Mexico and helped us move some of the stuff to the house! Overall it was a great month for us and it was the perfect excuse to finally start our blog.

Julio fue bueno con nosotros

Julio fue un mes genial para nosotros! Nuestro London nació el 24 de julio de 2012, así que este julio celebramos haberlo tenido a nuestro lado por un año COMPLETITO!

London es, sin lugar a duda la bendición más grande de nuestras vidas! Él siempre está feliz, le cae bien a todos, y se da a querer, y no lo digo porque sea mi hijo, sino porque es cierto! Es una personita que trae alegria a todos los que estamos a su alrededor. Así que era obvio que celebraramos con una fiestecita con familia y amigos cercanos.

Fue una fiesta super divertida, pero que puedo decir yo jaja. Hice todas las decoraciones, la piñata, los juegos, el pastel y algunas cosas para el fotomatón. Apesar de que la noche anterior estaba muy estresada y ansiosa por todos los pendientes que tenia, al final todo salio muy bonito y estuvo divertido. Antes de empezar a planear decidimos que nuestro presupuesto serian $250, y aunque fue dificil no gastar mas porque queria hacer muchas cosas, me siento orgullosa de reportar queel presupuesto fue respetado! Aun no se como, pero quedo muy padre!

El dia despues del cumple de London, el 25 de julio, firmamos los documentos de la hipoteca de nuestra primera casa! Asi que somos DUEÑOS DE CASA!

Esta es nuestra primera casa! Estamos en el Valle de Lago Salado, hay un Walmart, un Target y la entrada a la autopista cerca, asi que estamos muy emocionados y felices, pero al mismo tiempo me siento agotada sólo de pensar en todas las cosas que quiero cambiar!

Pero bueno lo vamos a tomar un paso a la vez, y trataremos de disfrutar todo el trabajo que implica ser dueños de casa! Ah se me olvidaba, mi papa vino a visitarnos desde mi Mexiquito y nos ayudo a mudar algunas cosas a la casa! En general fue un excelente mes para nosotros y fue la excusa perfecta para iniciar tan anhelado blog.
